09 August 2008 -- Club Picnic
at Indpls Sailing Club (849-0021 day of picnic)
Our annual Club picnic and August meeting will be a pitch in (so bring a dish and BYOB if you care to have alcohol).
You may also sign up on this day for any of our Club trips offered next year so bring your checkbook and be assured of a spot on our popular trips!
Schedule of events is as follows:
3:00 - 4:00 pm Social Hour
4:00 - 5:00 pm Trip Signup
5:00 pm Dinner
Club will provide BBQ and Baked Beans from Dick's bodacious BarBQ. You bring Appetizer (people with last name starting with A-G), Side Dish (people with last name starting with H-N), or Dessert(people with last name starting with O-Z). The Bergie award will also be presented at the picnic.

at Valle Vista Golf Club
Our annual golf outing is always a hit so don't miss out. Register now and CLICK HERE for a form! This is a scramble, so whether you are a great or mediocre golfer you will still have fun!
You may select your foursome or we will place you with a team. Non-golfing friends, spouses, or companions are welcome at the burger buffet for only $11.

NEW TIX NOW PROGRAM
If a skier wants to insure that the cost of the trip will not change due to a fuel surcharge from the airlines, they may participate in the TIXNOW program being offered by the Indy Ski Club this year. In the TIXNOW program, a skier will pay the $150 trip deposit AND the airline ticket price upon signing up for a trip. The skier will be ticketed NOW and the airline price will not change if there are future surcharges placed on that flight. The ticket is NON REFUNDABLE, however it could be transferred, with a fee, to another flight or person, but the ticket price would then be subject to the surcharges upon change.
UPDATE ON BAGGAGE REGULATIONS!
The airline industry is changing by the minute and regulations on charges for first and second bags are already a reality. Here's the latest info from the National Ski Council Federation.
